About Me
Naomi is a deeply experienced yoga teacher and has been practicing yoga for over 20 years. She is registered with Yoga Alliance and is qualified in Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin Yoga. She completed her 200 and 300 hours Ashtanga, as well as her Hatha teacher qualifications in Mysore, India under Praveen Somu. Her Yin qualification was completed with Bernie Clarke and Diana Batts. She is accredited as a continued education provider by Yoga Alliance, allowing her to teach advanced courses to yoga teachers. She continues to train and is currently studying advanced anatomy with Yoga Medicine to support her teaching. In May 2023 Naomi commenced a academic 2 year training programme to become a Yoga Therapist which is accredited by the British Council for Yoga Therapy. The course with The Minded Institute focuses on understanding of the brain and the major physiological systems of the body. It examines the evidence linking brain, behaviour, physiology, and pathology, including the latest scientific research underpinned by ancient yoga practices.

Naomi also qualified in the Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga with Liz Oppedijk at the end of 2024 as she aspires to make yoga more accessible to people.

Naomi can facilitate numerous corporate wellness activities such as yoga, guided meditation, sound baths and Yoga Nidra (conscious yogic sleep). She is a qualified sound healer having studied under Nada Yogi Akhilanka at the Temple of Singing Bowls in Mysore, India.

She has corporate experience having originally worked as a Project Manager in IT. Alongside Yoga, she enjoys cycling, the great outdoors, spending time with her family and creating wonderful food in the kitchen.

Above all, she hopes she can help you find what you're looking for in Yoga, whether that be soothing relaxation, increased strength and flexibility or a good cardiovascular workout.

Naomi is passionate about improving Mental Health and volunteers for the Samaritans as a listening volunteer.
