Join Naomi from Doda Yoga and Jo Caley from Joga for a luxurious day of yoga, divine food and relaxation in a beautiful woodland treehouse.
Location & Lunch
The New Forest Treehouse Study Centre is nestled in the New Forest National Park near Beaulieu and offers a beautiful location to unwind in. Under dappled sunlight in the middle of the forest or inside in the most spectacular wooden treehouse.
On arrival you will be greeted with a homemade plant based smoothie and protein snack. Lunch will be lovingly prepared on site and will also be plant based. During lunch there will be time to explore the fantastic forest and abundance of nature around you.
Naomi Hurst from Doda Yoga has practiced yoga for 17 years, she qualified as a teacher in the birthplace of Ashtanga, Mysore in India. She also completed her 500 hour teacher qualification there. Naomi has taught at multiple workshops and events with several high-profile clients, including the British Army. Her Yin qualification was achieved with Bernie Clark (world-renowned Yin specialist, authored multiple books on Yin). She is also a qualified sound bath practitioner and her Sound Bath Sundays in Stockbridge, Hampshire are often fully booked months in advance!
Jo Caley from Joga has been teaching for 10 years in the Hampshire and Wiltshire area with a deep knowledge not just of the practice, but of guiding each individual according to their needs. Her classes truly create union between breath and movement increasing strength, stamina and flexibility. Jo holds a diploma with Sun Power yoga CYQ/YMCA, REPS level 3 (Register of Exercise Professionals) and is an Experienced Registered Senior Yoga Teacher and Continuing Education Provider with the International Yoga Alliance Organisation.
A sound bath will take you on a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating journey as you fly on the sounds of the vibrating gong and soothing crystal singing bowls.
Naomi has a deep experience for taking her clients on their sound bath flight with many remarking that it is "the most relaxed I've felt in ages!"
There is no movement, you are free to lay down in any comfortable position, but we do recommend lying on your back to absorb the vibrations fully through your body and your ears.
Jo Caley will lead the group in an energising Vinyasa in the morning, warming the body and enlivening your senses.
The afternoon session will be led by Naomi and will be Yin focussed. This will deepen your relaxation whilst squeezing every little last bit of flexibility out of your muscles and fascia.
